The San Diego Padres are continuting and expanding their commitment to youth baseball with their 2013 Youth Baseball Initiative. The program expands in 2013 to more than 14,700 local youth baseball players in Majestic, custom-made, authentic Padres jerseys and corresponding caps.
Leagues have the opportunity to use funds that normally would have been allocated toward uniforms for improvement projects that will benefit the entire league.
The program supports five Little League districts within closest proximity to Petco Park (Districts 32, 33, 66, 41 and 42). Each league was given a list of 16 styles of jerseys from throughout Padres history to choose from.
