Chase Utley discusses his life in baseball in the latest Players Talk show, from growing up in California to the diamonds of the Pac 10 with UCLA to the Cape Cod League and, finally, the pros and Major League Baseball.
Utley, who's driven in more than 100 runs in each of the past two seasons -- and earned his first trip to the All-Star Game in 2006 -- told Players Talk that playing in the World Baseball Classic was among the most satisfying experiences of his career.
"I'd do it again in a heartbeat," the Phillies' second baseman said. "One, representing your country in the Classic was an honor. Two, meeting some guys you play against or watch on TV and getting to know them a little better was fun."
