Matt Chico put the Nationals in a deep hole from the start, allowing five runs on eight hits in four innings, and he fell to 0-5 as a result in a loss to the Cubs. Meanwhile, the bats were unable to figure out Chicago's pitchers, managing just six hits, two of which came from Felipe Lopez.
