Carroll's homer

Rodrigo Lopez was unable to stop the Rockies' skid as the club suffered its fifth straight loss. Lopez gave up eight runs on nine hits, including a homer to Cliff Floyd. Jamey Carroll was the one bright spot, as he went deep and doubled twice -- once in the ninth -- to give the Cubs a scare.
