Carlos Zambrano's first-inning struggles carried over from his previous start. The Cubs ace surrendered three first-inning runs Thursday, setting the tone for Chicago to drop the rubber match to Pittsburgh. Zambrano now has allowed 13 first-inning runs and opponents are batting .361 against him in the first.
