Surprise! 'Stros sneak sweep
Late uprising lifts Astros
Trailing by a run in the eighth inning, the Astros got a two-run single from Brad Ausmus to take their first lead of the game and eventually sweep the Cubs for the first time since 2001. Starter Fernando Nieve allowed two runs in 5 2/3 innings, while Dave Borkowski took the win in relief.

Series at a glance:
Zambrano's effort wasted
Carlos Zambrano stifled the Astros for seven innings, allowing one run on five hits and striking out five, but Houston tagged Bob Howry and benefited from a costly error in the eighth to steal one from the Cubs. Jacque Jones homered and Juan Pierre set a new career high with four steals.
