Griffin pitched well against the Mariners on Saturday, outside of a surprising grand slam off the bat of Henry Blanco, and he has now allowed exactly four runs in four of his last five starts.

In his last start against the Indians, Zimmermann couldn't take advantage of a 5-0 lead. He pitched five innings and allowed six runs on eight hits. Everything he threw was up in the zone. He wasn't getting ahead of hitters.

Over his last three starts, Moore's ERA has risen from 2.18 to 4.12, as he's allowed 19 earned runs over 13 1/3 innings. Moore has allowed five earned runs in eight career innings at Yankee Stadium.

Minor's rough patches Saturday were made worse by the defensive miscues behind him on the way to a no-decision. The three runs he's given up in 14 1/3 innings against the Mets this year have all come courtesy of homers.

Feldman was outstanding in his last start, going seven innings and giving up just one run on two hits with six strikeouts and a walk against the Mets. It was one of his best starts of the season.

Hernandez improved to 8-4 on the season after pitching his fourth scoreless outing of the season. He lasted seven innings, striking out eight and walking just one. He was also the beneficiary of a run-saving play at the plate.

Coming into his eighth start of the year, Hanson was "the most confident I've felt all year." With an impressive fastball and a biting curveball, he limited the Yankees to two runs in 6 1/3 innings and got a season-high eight.

Ninth on the depth chart coming out of Spring Training, Fife is in the starting rotation now with a 3.74 ERA in four starts. He gives up a lot of hits, but keeps the game close.

Marquis continues to enjoy a career revival, while cheating some statistical odds. He allowed three runs in his last start for his ninth win. He hasn't lost since April 22 and is 6-1 when walking four or more in a start.

Still searching for his first career win, Koehler was roughed up by the Cardinals his last time out, surrendering nine runs on eight hits over 4 2/3 innings. Through 16 2/3 innings in June thus far, the right-hander has a 9.18 ERA.

Gaudin yielded two home runs to Atlanta's B.J. Upton in his last start, marking the first time he had allowed multiple homers in a game since Sept. 25, 2010, against Boston as a Yankee. Gaudin's ERA as a starter is 4.24, compared to 2.05 in relief.
