The Chicago Cubs today announced their regular season television broadcast schedule. For the second year in a row, all 162 games will be available in high-definition in the Chicago area.

Comcast SportsNet will televise the Cubs' April 6 season opener in Houston while WGN will televise its first game the next day on April 7. WGN will also televise the Cubs' April 13 home opener vs. Colorado.

Chicago Cubs games have been televised by WGN since 1948 and by WCIU since 2000. This will be Comcast SportsNet's fifth season televising the Cubs.

Len Kasper and Bob Brenly return for their fifth season in the Cubs' broadcast booth. The duo was recognized following the 2006 season with a local Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement for Individual Excellence On Camera: Programming, Play-by-Play.
