Cubs announce 2006 Spring Training schedule

The Chicago Cubs today announced their 32-game spring training schedule for the 2006 Cactus League season. The Cubs' exhibition campaign - which begins Thursday, March 2, against the Oakland Athletics - will conclude with a pair of contests against the San Diego Padres in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 31-April 1. All games are scheduled to begin at 1:05 p.m. Arizona time unless otherwise noted.
Season and group tickets for HoHoKam Park will be available beginning Wednesday, January 4, at 10:00 am MST and can be purchased by calling the HoHoKam ticket office at 480-964-4467. Single-game tickets also are scheduled to go on sale Thursday, January 5, at 9:00 a.m. and can be purchased by calling 800-905-3315 or online at www.tickets.com. The box office at HoHoKam opens Wednesday, January 11, for single game sales, walk up only. HoHoKam box office window hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Additional information can also be found at www.cubs.com.
