tickets for any Major League Baseball game
The Chicago Cubs today agreed to terms with infielder JOSE MACIAS on a one-year contract for the 2005 season. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Cubs also announced today that they have tendered contracts to all remaining unsigned players.

"He's a quality team player with a lot of versatility that can help a team in many ways," said Cubs general manager Jim Hendry. "I'm sure he'll be a good compliment to Neifi Perez as an extra infielder."

Macias, 32, appeared in 98 games for the Cubs last year, batting .268 (52-194) with 12 extra-base hits and 22 RBI. The infielder saw action in 18 games (7 starts) at third base, 16 games (8 starts) at second base, 13 games (7 starts) in right field, 8 games (3 starts) in left field and 7 games (3 starts) in center field.
