Cubs recall Beltran, option Pratt
tickets for any Major League Baseball game
The Chicago Cubs today optioned left-handed pitcher Andy Pratt to Iowa (AAA) and recalled right-handed pitcher Francis Beltran from the Triple-A affiliate.

Beltran opened the season at Iowa, where he recorded 3 saves in his first 3 appearances. He has not allowed a baserunner in 3.1 innings and has fanned 3 batters.

Pratt has seen action in 4 games for Chicago, posting a 21.60 ERA. He was acquired March 25 from the Atlanta Braves with IF Richard Lewis for RHP Juan Cruz and LHP Steve Smyth.
