Tickets for new Dugout Box Seats to go on sale on
Tuesday, March 30, 2004
tickets for any Major League Baseball game
The Chicago Cubs announced today the policy for sales of single game tickets for the new dugout box seats added for the 2004 season. A total of 213 seats were added in three rows running dugout to dugout.

To maximize fairness and to allow as many fans as possible an opportunity to purchase, tickets will be available only on the internet through a random system. Tickets will be offered on a single game basis only. No season ticket sales will be available.

Starting at 9 a.m. (CT) on Wednesday (March 31), fans can visit to register for the opportunity to purchase up to four (4) Dugout Box tickets at face value, plus convenience fees and handling fees, for one (1) Chicago Cubs regular season home game. The deadline to register is Friday, April 2, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. CT.

Those who are selected to be given the first opportunity to purchase tickets, will be notified on Sunday, April 4, 2004. The winners will then be allowed to purchase on Tuesday, April 6, in a designated time period, up to (4) Dugout Box tickets for one (1) game. Additional registered fans will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets as long as inventory remains available.

"We are excited to be able to offer all our fans a chance to purchase these new seats on a single game basis. These are arguably the best seats in baseball" said Frank Maloney, Director of Ticket Operations.

Individual tickets are from $50 for Value Games, $100 for Regular Games and $250 for Prime Games. Ticket prices for the dugout box seats correspond with the same 3 tier variable pricing structure used for value, regular and prime dates used for other tickets in Wrigley Field.
