At Bat the only sports app to rank among the year's best for both iPhone & iPad
MLB.com At Bat, for the fifth consecutive year, today was named the highest grossing sports application by Apple in its annual Best of the Year rankings for the App Store. In the overall App Store rankings, At Bat finished the year as the only sports app to place among the Top 100 highest grossing applications for both iPhone and iPad. At Bat finished 19th and 37th for iPhone and iPad, respectively.
Season's Tweetings means secret gifting
MLB.com (@MLB) today introduced a new take on Season’s Tweetings, one in which fans who enter a Twitter sweepstakes will be eligible to win a holiday present from a secret gifter representing each of the 30 MLB Clubs. The secret gifters from the American League Clubs, which will include current and former players, among other high profile personalities, will be unveiled today with the National League Club representatives coming tomorrow.
