Tim Collins (left-flexor strain) made his first rehab appearance, striking out the side in a 1-2-3 eighth on 17 pitches -- nine strikes. Carlos Peguero hit a pair of homers and drove in four. Johnny Giavotella recorded another big game in his home town, finishing 3-for-4 with a run. He's a career .438 hitter (28-for-64) in New Orleans as a Storm Chaser.

J.C. Sulbaran tossed six scoreless innings to lead the Naturals to a series-opening win over Tulsa. Sulbaran fanned three while scattering three hits and four walks. Wilking Rodriguez made his season debut, striking out two in a scoreless stanza. Northwest Arkansas broke open a 1-0 game with four in the seventh, including a three-run double by Jorge Bonifacio, Kansas City's No. 4 prospect. Bonifacio is tied for first in the Texas League with 16 RBIs.
Wilmington Blue Rocks (8-12)
Carolina at Wilmington: postponed due to rain
The rain system that delayed the Royals game at Baltimore also postponed Friday's game in Wilmington. No makeup date was announced. The Blue Rocks host Myrtle Beach (Rangers) tonight.
Lexington Legends (11-11)
Lexington 9, Greenville 8
WP: Tripp Davis (1-0)
Lexington won a wild game, scoring five in the ninth to take a 9-4 lead, then holding on as Greenville scored four in the home half. Dominique Taylor recorded two hits, two RBIs and two runs. Ramon Torres drove in three, including a pair on a fifth inning double.
