Pirates outfielder Starling Marte collected two hits and drove in his 14th run of the postseason to help the Leones take a 4-0 lead in the best-of-9 Championship Series. Veteran Jesus Feliciano was 2-for-6 and scored the winning run while Rays reliever Fernando Rodney struck out one and allowed a hit over a scoreless inning. Miguel Tejada, who signed a Minor League deal with the Royals in December, had three hits for the Aguilas. Box score

Luis Ugueto (Padres) was 3-for-5 with a triple and three runs scored for the Caribes. Former Major Leaguer Jose Castillo had two RBIs and Angels prospect Jairo Diaz tossed a perfect ninth inning to earn the save. D-backs hurler Garrett Mock struck out six and allowed two runs on five hits over five innings, but did not figure into the decision for the Aguilas. Box score

Free agent Juan Rivera, who spent the 2012 season with the Dodgers, slugged a two-run homer for the Navegantes. Fabio Castro struck out seven and allowed two hits over five innings while Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus hit a solo homer. Red Sox prospect Ronald Bermudez was 2-for-3 in the loss for the Leones.
