Cubs release Spring Training slate
Tickets on sale Jan. 5; HoHoKam opener on March 4

CHICAGO -- The Cubs will play their crosstown rivals, the Chicago White Sox, five times in Spring Training, according to the 2010 schedule released on Wednesday.
The Cubs and White Sox square off March 6 in Mesa, March 7 and March 19 in Glendale, and then play two in Las Vegas, March 12-13.
Those five contests are part of the total 35-game schedule, which includes 15 games at HoHoKam Park, 18 road games in Arizona and the two in Las Vegas. Spring Training reporting dates will be announced at a later time.
Lou Piniella and the Cubs open the 2010 Cactus League schedule on March 4 against the Oakland Athletics at HoHoKam Park. The home finale will be April 1 against the Colorado Rockies.
This will be the Cincinnati Reds' first spring in Arizona, and the Cubs will play their National League Central foes March 13 and March 29 in Mesa and March 21 in Goodyear.
The Cubs won't have to travel far to wrap up the spring slate, facing the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field on April 2-3 for two exhibition games. The times for those two games is to be determined.
Individual game tickets for the 2010 Cubs home Spring Training games will go on sale Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. CT on www.cubs.com.
Season tickets for 2010 at HoHoKam Park go on sale Jan. 4 at 9 a.m. MT.
