Cubs trim two from spring roster
Pitchers Caridad, Kadokura sent to Minor League camp
MESA, Ariz. -- The Cubs sent non-roster invitees Esmailin Caridad and Ken Kadokura to the Minor League camp Wednesday.

Both are right-handed pitchers. Caridad had appeared in six games this spring and gave up four hits and two walks. Kadokura had a 1-0 record and 4.26 ERA in six games, giving up three runs on six hits and four walks over 6 1/3 innings.
The moves reduced the Cubs' roster to 43, including 20 pitchers, four catchers, 10 infielders, and nine outfielders.
