    Meet former Red Jack Billingham


    Don't miss this opportunity to meet former Reds pitcher and Reds Hall of Famer Jack Billingham at the Reds Hall of Fame! Billingham was traded to the Reds in a blockbuster trade before the 1972 season along with Joe Morgan, Cesar Geronimo, Ed Armbrister and Denis Menke for Tommy Helms and Lee May. Billingham enjoyed his best statistical season with the Reds in 1973, winning 19 games and being selected to the National League All-Star team. He was a key member of the Big Red Machine, helping win back-to-back World Series Championships in 1975 and 1976. Billingham held the record for lowest ERA in World Series history until 2014 when Madison Bumgarner broke the record. He will appear at the Reds Hall Fame and Museum in the Great Teams Room, where fans will have the opportunity to meet Billingham and for an additional fee, get an autograph.

    Fans can meet Jack and have a photo taken with him and a World Series trophy with paid museum admission or membership. For those seeking autographs, pricing is as follows:

    • First item (HOF members) - $10.00
    • First item (non-members) - $15.00
    • Each additional item - $5.00 (limit of five total items)

    Reds Hall of Fame and Museum before Friday home games

    Meet "Mr. Perfect" himself, Tom Browning, at the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum before Friday home games during the 2017 season. Browning will greet fans and sign complimentary autographs from 6-7 p.m. One autograph per person, please. Free with museum admission or membership.     Our Game Too: Asian Pacific Americans in Major League Baseball offers an entertaining and thought-provoking look into the rich history of Asian Pacific Americans in Major League Baseball through a series of insightful anecdotes, inspiring stories, and narrative timelines. Visit the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum on Saturday, September 23 to meet authors Dr. Billy W. Simpson and Dr. Jennifer A. Simpson. Books will be available for sale.

  • Women in Baseball Book Signing and Presentation

    Saturday, September 23 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. in the Palace of the Fans Theater

    Join us at the Reds Hall of Fame for a presentation on women in baseball. Dr. Kat D. Williams, author of The All-American Girls After the AAGPBL: How Playing Pro Ball Shaped Their Lives, will join Cami Kidder, producer of Throw Like a Girl, a documentary showcasing women and girls with a shared love of baseball. Williams will sign copies of her book in the Palace of the Fans Theater at 2 p.m., and Kidder will show clips from the feature-length documentary. Don't miss this unique opportunity to meet these two women and hear about their shared goal to tell the story of women and baseball.

A two-time World Champion with the Big Red Machine, Foster belted 52 home runs and drove in 149 RBIs en route to his NL MVP title in 1977. He will be signing autographs and meeting with fans in the Palace of the Fans Theater from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M.

    Admission to the Meet & Greet/Photos are free with museum membership or admission. For those seeking autographs, pricing is as follows:

    Don't miss this opportunity to meet Reds Hall of Famer and 1977 NL MVP George Foster! A two-time World Champion with the Big Red Machine, Foster belted 52 home runs and drove in 149 RBIs en route to his NL MVP title in 1977. Following a "ballpark buffet" dinner, Foster will tell stories about his time as a baseball player, as well as take questions. Reds Hall of Fame Executive Director Rick Walls will MC the event.

    A question and answer session and photo opportunity will follow dinner.

    Join us as Tommy Helms and Marty Brennaman learn about their fascinating ancestral stories for the first time, LIVE on stage. Dramatized by images, audio and Tommy and Marty's reactions, the stories will feature Pocahontas, a friend of Thomas Jefferson, the Civil War battle at Antietam and other historical connections.
