  • "Cuba's Campo Corto", by Buzz Guckenberger book signing

    Join Reds Hall of Famer Leo Cardenas and author Geo. Buzz Guckenberger as they sign Cuba's Campo Corto in the Palace of the Fans Theater on Saturday, October 1. Leo will also sign autographed items for $5 per item. Leo will be inducted into the Hispanic Heritage Baseball Hall of Fame Museum in a pregame ceremony later that day, don't miss your opportunity to meet him and read his story on this special occasion.

    Event is free with Museum membership or daily admission. Books are available for sale in the Museum Store for $30. Additional autographs from Leo Cardenas are available for $5 each.


  • Lima Chapter Event with Ron Oester

    Ron Oester will be making a trip to Lima, Ohio where he will be visiting the Reds Hall of Fame Lima Chapter. Guests can start to arrive at 5:30pm with the event starting at 6pm. Ron will tell stories and hold a question & answer session. After that, he will sign an autograph for all attendees, one autograph per person. The price for the entrance will be $10 for members and $25 for non-members. A server will take orders for food and drinks off the menu.

    Ron Oester was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in 2014 alongside of Ken Griffey Jr., Jake Beckley, and Dave Parker. Oester was born in Cincinnati, drafted by the Reds, and played all 13 of his MLB seasons for the team. He is a member of the 1990 World Series team where he batted .299 that season.

    Sportswriter, John Fay, will be at the Joe Nuxhall Chapter's next event. Guests can start to arrive at 6:00pm with the event starting at 6:30pm. John will tell stories and hold a question & answer session. The price for the entrance will be $5 for members and $25 for non-members. A server will take orders for food and drink off the menu. John is a sports reporter that covers the Reds for WCPO.com and was a longtime beat writer for The Cincinnati Enquirer.

    Benefitting the Reds Hall of Fame Crosley Field Remembered Project
    and the City Gospel Mission

    Date/Time: Wednesday, April 12, 2017, 12:30 - 2 pm
    Location: City Gospel Mission, 1805 Dalton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45214
    Menu: Chicken Parmesan, Risotto, Buttered Green Beans, Salad, Decadent Brownies. Water and Tea are also available.

    Join Reds Hall of Famer Leo Cardenas for a kickoff luncheon at the former site of Crosley Field, home of the Reds from 1912 - 1970. Cardenas will take questions, tell stories, and tour the Crosley Field site with attendees. Tickets are $50 per person, and include a specially prepared luncheon and an autographed Leo Cardenas bobblehead, as well as the opportunity to meet Cardenas and take photos.

    A Gold Glove winner in 1965, Cardenas twice led National League shortstops in fielding percentage. Nicknamed "Mr. Automatic," he played for the Reds from 1960 through the 1968 season, earning a reputation as a stellar defensive shortstop. He was also a five-time All-Star, including four appearances for the Reds.

    This is the first event in an exclusive luncheon series featuring Reds Hall of Fame players who will be honored with a bobblehead by the museum this summer. Future speakers include Tommy Helms, Ron Oester, Dave Parker and George Foster. The series benefits the Reds Hall of Fame's Crosley Remembered Project and the City Gospel Mission.

  • Meet former Reds slugger Greg Vaughn at the Reds Hall of Fame

    Meet former Red Greg Vaughn at the Reds Hall of Fame! A member of the 1999 Reds, Vaughn slugged 45 home runs and played in 153 games for a team that won 96 games and played in one of the most electric games at Riverfront Stadium, a one-game playoff against the New York Mets. Hear Greg tell stories and take questions from fans, followed by an autograph session. Admission to the meet and greet is free with Museum Admission, autographs are $15 for the first item for Hall of Fame members and $20 for non-members. Additional autographs are available for $10 per item. Pre-purchase of tickets is strongly encouraged.
