The Chicago Cubs and BABY RUTH®, a proud sponsor of the Chicago Cubs, are looking to give one passionate and loyal Cubs fan an opportunity to sing "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" during the 7th-Inning Stretch on September 1 at Wrigley Field.

Register below now for the "The Baby Ruth Ultimate 7th-Inning Stretch Competition™" -- but hurry, registration ends July 7 at 5 p.m. CT. All fans who register using the form below will have their own personal audition at Wrigley Field on July 18.

"In the first year of the competition thousands of loyal Cubs fans, representing all 50 states, registered for their chance to lead the Wrigley Field faithful in the singing of this timeless tradition," said Matt Wszolek, Cubs director of sales and promotions. "We are extremely excited to carry on this great tradition, as the 7th-inning stretch is truly one of the elements that make Wrigley Field unique."

"Singing 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' at Wrigley Field is a truly unique and special way to honor the 100th anniversary of this historic and legendary song."

Using the elements of passion, performance, creativity and loyalty as criteria, among others, a set of judges will narrow the initial field to a group of 50 semi-finalists. Aided by on-line voting at www.cubs.com, Cubs will then determine the 10 finalists, who will compete again at Wrigley Field on August 14 before a panel of judges. Fans voting on cubs.com will again help the Cubs choose the ultimate winner.

On September 1, with the 10 finalists in attendance, the winner will be announced at Wrigley Field in an on-field, pre-game ceremony.

To be eligible, all contestants must register at www.cubs.com by July 7 at 5 p.m. CST. Registration is not available at Wrigley Field on July 18. Fans must be at least eight-years-old on July 7, 2008, to be eligible for the contest. Other rules apply.
