When The Police visited Wrigley Field last July, fans were treated to a memorable experience of perfect weather and music under the stars.
Many neighborhood residents attended and thousands purchased tickets through a special allocation reserved for residents who live around The Friendly Confines.
The community benefited after the performance as well. Working with the aldermen representing the areas around the ballpark, $150,000 from the proceeds was donated to schools in the 44th, 46th, 47th and 32nd wards-the neighborhoods closely surrounding Wrigley Field.
