Postseason Video Board Messages
You will receive a refund for any postseason game(s) not played at Wrigley Field. We anticipate being able to process refunds within approximately two weeks from the conclusion of our season. Refunds will be processed using the same method as payment.
Video Board Message: Appears on the left field Wrigley Field Video Board in the middle of the 5th inning.
All Postseason videoboard messages will include an 8x10 print and a digital copy of your message.
8"x10" Print: An email will be sent to the email address provided upon purchase to redeem your 8 in. by 10 in. print within 10 business days of the original display of the message.
Images and Certificates are not available for pick-up at the ballpark. Promotional messages of other MLB teams are not permitted. Custom formatting of font, letter-case, and number of lines is not permitted.
All messages will be displayed in the middle of the 5th inning, with a limit of 40 characters and a choice of the following five introductory greetings:
Messages will be displayed for 3-5 seconds and are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All proceeds benefit Cubs Charities.
Q: When will the message display?
A: All messages will display in the middle of the 5th inning on the new left field video board.
Q: Where will the message display?
A: Your message will be displayed on the new video board in left field. Please note that some seating areas may not have a direct view of the board. Please be sure to position yourself in Wrigley to view the board.
Q: How long will my message be displayed?
A: Messages will be displayed for 3-5 seconds.
Q: When will I receive my 8x10 image?
A: Your 8x10 image will be shipped within 10 business days to the address provided upon your original purchase of the message.
Q: When will I received my digital download?
A: Your digital download will be emailed 10 business days to the email address provided upon your original purchase of the message.
Q: I misspelled a word in my original message purchase. How can I change my spelling?
A: Please email a representative at ScoreboardMessages@cubs.com with your name, game scheduled and original message and explain what you'd like to change that message to.
Q: I didn't order an 8x10 or a digital download when I ordered my message, but I'd like to order now. How can I do that?
A: Please email a representative at ScoreboardMessages@cubs.com.
Q: I missed my message, what do I do now?
A: No worries! We take pictures of all messages so you may have as a keepsake if you'd like! Please email ScoreboardMessages@cubs.com
Video Board message requests must be submitted no later than one business day before a game.
Only 30 video board messages are available per game, so be sure to order yours soon! Available space fills up quickly.
Your message will be displayed on Wrigley Field's new video board video board during the middle of the 5th inning.
We will make every effort to take each photo during the live display of the video board message. In the event of technical or other difficulties, we reserve the right to recreate the photo at a later date.
The Cubs reserve the right to approve and edit any message. Messages which contain obscene or offensive content or include foul language will not be accepted. Marketing messages are not permitted. Promotion of other MLB teams is not permitted.
Messages may be one line containing 40 characters or less, including spaces and punctuation.
There are no refunds for video board messages. If your game is rescheduled, the message will be played during the make-up game.
