Let's Go Gold

Cubs Charities joined Major League Baseball in the fight against pediatric cancer Friday, September 2, by going "gold" for Childhood Cancer Awareness Day at Wrigley Field. Cubs players and coaches wore gold ribbon decals, wristbands, and batting practice shirts, as well as participated in a special pregame activity alongside pediatric cancer patients and their families. Cubs Charities donated a portion of the game's 50/50 raffle proceeds to the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation, Joe Maddon's Respect 90 Foundation and Jon Lester's NVRQT campaign, which support pediatric cancer research and programs.
