Chicago Cubs' Wives Present "Wrigley Field from A to Z"
The Chicago Cubs wives created a children's book called "Wrigley Field from A to Z" - a book perfect for new readers and young Cubs fans.
The book contains hand-drawn illustrations by the wives of the 2005 Chicago Cubs. It is a walk through the alphabet with famous attractions and baseball-related themes and features of Wrigley Field. For example, "H" represents the Hall of Fame and is drawn by Cubs Hall-of-Famer Ryne Sandberg's wife Margaret. "Y" is for yelling (like cheering!) during the game and was drawn by Ismary Zambrano, wife of Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano.
"Wrigley Field from A to Z" is sold at Barnes & Noble bookstores, including their college locations and B Dalton sister stores throughout the Chicago area market. A portion of the proceeds from each book benefits Cubs Care, a fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation.
