Official Rules

Who may participate: Participants must be 18 years of age or older and purchase a 50/50 raffle ticket during a Chicago Cubs home game. Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of Chicago Cubs Charities ("Sponsor"), Chicago Cubs Baseball Club, LLC, Wrigley Field Enterprises, LLC, Levy Premium Food Service LP, Levy Restaurants and anyone who works at Wrigley Field or for Cubs or any related party (collectively, Sponsor and all other entities are the "Released Parties") are not eligible to participate in the raffle or win a prize.

Cash Prize: The more who participate, the larger the prize. For each raffle, one winner will receive a cash prize of half of the Net Proceeds, as defined below, from the game's raffle sales. "Net Proceeds" means the gross receipts from the conduct of the raffle, less reasonable sums expended for local license fees and other reasonable operating expenses incurred as a result of operating the raffle. The remaining 50% of all Net Proceeds will benefit Chicago Cubs Charities.

How to purchase tickets: Tickets will be sold during each Chicago Cubs home game during the 2013 regular season. Tickets may be purchased through the second out of the bottom of the seventh inning from uniformed Chicago Cubs Charities raffle ticket sellers located throughout the park and in the vicinity of Wrigley Field. In the event of a daytime double header, there will be one raffle and tickets will be sold through the second out of the bottom of the seventh inning of the second game, provided, however, in the event of a day-night double header, there will be two raffles and tickets will be sold through the second out of the bottom of the seventh inning of each game. Tickets are non-refundable.

Drawing: Chicago Cubs Charities will randomly draw one raffle ticket for every raffle no earlier than the end of the seventh inning, and the winning number will be announced before the start of the ninth inning. In the event of a day-night doubleheader, the winner will be announced before the start of the ninth inning of each game. If a game is called prior to the fifth inning (due to weather, etc.), the winner will be announced at the conclusion of the game. The winning number and prize amount may be verified on the game day or afterwards at Fan Services or the 50/50 Raffle Kiosk on the main concourse at Wrigley Field, by calling the Chicago Cubs Charities 50/50 Raffle hotline at (773) 404-4726, or by scanning the QR code at the bottom of the raffle ticket. Winners need not be present at drawing.

To Claim a Prize: The original and official Chicago Cubs Charities 50/50 Raffle ticket must be presented in person to claim the prize. No photocopies or other reproductions will be accepted. Winning number on ticket must be visible, complete, and legible. Potential winner may claim prize by presenting: 1) valid government issued identification showing age of greater than 18 years; and 2) winning raffle ticket a) during any game to the 50/50 Raffle Kiosk or Fan Services located on the main concourse at Wrigley Field; or b) at the Wrigley Field Administrative Offices at any time during business hours. All winnings must be claimed within ten days of the winning drawing. The potential winner will be required to submit his/her valid social security number and/or other identification to Sponsor (e.g., valid passport for non-US residents) and will be required to execute Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability and, unless prohibited by law, Publicity. Failure to claim the prize, submit any identification required by Sponsor or to complete the Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability and Publicity within the specified time period or noncompliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture. Cash Prize will be paid to winner by check within 60 days from date winner claims the prize. In the event of forfeiture or unclaimed prize, all prize amounts will go to Chicago Cubs Charities. Neither Sponsor nor Released Parties is responsible for or shall have any liability whatsoever for lost or stolen tickets, tickets damaged to the point of illegibility, or tickets redeemed in error by its agents. Ticket will be void and prize shall not be paid/redeemed if there is proof the ticket was stolen, unissued, ineligible, altered, counterfeit in whole or in part, defective, printed in duplicate or printed/produced in error. Unauthorized persons copying, selling, or altering tickets are subject to prosecution. All costs and expenses associated with claiming the prize and any and all applicable taxes are the responsibility of the winner.

General: By participating in the raffle, each participant (i) is bound by these Official Rules, including all entry requirements, (ii) consents to the use of the winner's name, address (city and state only), voice and/or photograph for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation or notification; (iii) represents and warrants they will not copy or otherwise reproduce or duplicate any ticket in an attempt to alter the raffle in any way; and (iv) will indemnify, defend, hold harmless, release, and waive any and all claims against the Released Parties and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, representatives and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the raffle, and all of their respective officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents and representatives for any injury, damage or loss may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the participation in the raffle or from the receipt or use of any prize or any travel or activity related to the claiming, receipt or use of any Prize. All tickets, transactions, participants and winners associated with the Chicago Cubs Charities 50/50 Raffle are subject to federal and State law, applicable City of Chicago ordinances, and these Official Rules and any lawful changes thereof.
